Penentuan kepribadian ini dikenal dengan nama ColorCode Personality Test. Tes ini dibentuk oleh Dr. Taylor Hartman, seorang psikolog, pebisnis, dan penulis. Teori ini dibentuk berdasarkan perilaku lingkungan seeseorang tersebut. Digambarkan bahwa kepribadian manusia terbagi menjadi empat warna, yaitu biru, merah, kuning, dan hijau.

Biru
Siapa sih si biru ?
Si biru ini adalah seorang yang tegas, madiri, out spoker, suka berdebat, dominan, ingin cepat berhasil, tidak suka dikontrol, ingin jawaban langsung. Si Biru ini apabila tertekan akan memaksa, marah sendiri, dan bossy pada orang lain. Biru adalah tipe yang sangat cocok untuk dijadikan seorang pemimpin.
Merah
Si merah adalah si gaul yang sangat antusias, spontan, dan cerewet. Si merah ini orang yang selalu terbuka, ramah dan optimis, suka membujuk namun mudah sekali untuk dipancing. Baiknya si merah adalah persuasif dan mudah sekali bekerjasama. Merah menginginkan kebebasan dan orang yang suka berekspresi.
Kuning
Tipe kuning adalah tipe yang sangat lemah lembut. Orang kuning adalah orang yang sangat hati-hati dalam bertutur kata, pendengar yang baik. Cocok sekali dijadikan sebagai teman curhat. Orang kuning ini sangat kompromistis, akomodatif, dan terstruktur. Karena sifat kehati-hatiannya ini kuning menjadi sangat wasapada dan menjadi orang yang memiliki tingkat khawatir yang tinggi.
Hijau
Hijau adalah orang sangat monoton, formal dan teratur. Orang hijau ini susah bercanda karena sifatnya yangg serius dan formal. Hijau selalu memiliki catatan dan diplomatis saat berbicara. Tapi hati-hati, karena orang hijau adalah seorang yang moody, kritis, negatif, dan khawatiran. Akan sangat berbahaya jika orang hijau ini sudah memberikan komentar pada suatu sistem, karena orang hijau sangat peka dan kritis terhadap perubahan-perubahan yang berlangsung tidak sesuai dengan sistem yang benar.
Because everybody is unique, maka dari semua warna kepribadian yang kita miliki tidak ada yang salah dan yang benar. Semua memiliki kelebihan dan kekurangannya masing-masing.
